About Claire

I have enjoyed a career as an illustrator of children’s books and stationery, working from home in a small market town in Essex where I live with my two sons and two cats.

I have run the Sherbet Box as a monthly stationery subscription box for several years, it is now becoming a quarterly box to fit around other work commitments - I just love creating new stationery!

I went to a ‘Knitting and Stitching’ show at the Alexandra Palace in London in 2019 with a friend and stumbled across a stall selling little needle felting kits and bought a cat one on a whim. I LOVED this craft straight away and then quickly got completely obsessed during the long hours at home in covid lockdowns.

Opening the craft cabin to teach needle felting in 2023 was a brilliant new venture for me, ending the year with being commissioned by Burberry to produce a TikTok advert with them!

Away from my desk you can find me pottering in my garden, off on long countryside rambles with friends or cheering on Arsenal at the Emirates :)
