The Fold

Since July 2025 I have held my workshops at The Fold in Billericay.

It is a very beautiful old Victorian junior school that has been converted into a community arts centre, I love this building!

Established in 1979 as a registered charity, the Billericay Arts Association (BAA) operates The Fold. It relies entirely on unpaid volunteers for its operation and staffing, with only their class tutors receiving salaries. The BAA is self-financing, occupying The Fold rent-free thanks to Basildon District Council. Its primary income sources are class fees and room rentals, supplemented by revenue from BAA events, membership subscriptions, donations, grants, and refreshment sales.

They run lots of creative classes, look here to find out more

My room I rent used to be the Headmaster's room! We are tucked down the end of a corridor, it's a cosy space with room to comfortably host 6 people for a workshop.
